Why hire a wedding planner?

You’ve just gotten engaged. You’ve dreamed about getting married to the love of your life but you don’t know where to start. Maybe you’ve selected a venue and have a date, but aren’t sure what to do next. Maybe you’ve hired all of your vendors but you still aren’t sure how it’s all going to come together. Will you be able to relax and celebrate with your friends and family?

Yes! Whichever bride or groom you are, we can help! Chances are, you haven’t planned a lot of weddings. We have! It’s what we do all.the.time. We help you figure out how to make your vision come to life and execute your plan so that you can sit back and relax. This is too important of a day - you should be able to take in every moment and enjoy.

As your wedding planners, we deal with unexpected things every day. Our job is to make sure it doesn’t effect your day. We handle all the behind the scenes details, we make recommendations based on your budget and your priorities. You still have complete control in the decision-making; we just make it all happen!

How is Lily Rose Events different?

While I have dabbled in weddings for the last 18 years, I actually have a Master’s degree in counseling. I understand that families and relationships can be hard, even on our most celebrated days. Sometimes that means mediating through tension and helping you making difficult decisions. Lily Rose Events is uniquely equipped to support you throughout the planning process.

What is your pricing?

Our base package for (more than) day of coordination starts at $1,800. Full Services coordination is $4,500. We offer customized packages to suit your needs, that often fall in between.

Do you work from a preferred vendor list?

While we do refer certain vendors that we believe do an excellent job and who we enjoy working with, we do not have required vendors. We do make recommendations specific to your vision, budget, and priorities so that you will have the best vendors FOR YOU on your team.

What area do you serve? Do you travel?

We have planned weddings all over the triangle, including Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Durham, Apex, Youngsville, and even the outskirts of the triangle area, in Saxapahaw and Benson. We have traveled to the NC mountains for weddings and would love to travel to the beach! Just ask us!! And if you live out of the area but are planning a wedding in the triangle area – we do that too!

Who will I be working with?

We have three lead planners, all capable of running your event. Full service clients will work exclusively with our owner, Becky. Partial planning or (more than) day of coordination clients may work more closely with one of our other planners, Carrie or Dawn. Either way, you have a team of professionals to support you, each with strengths that will make your day the best! We also include an assistant for the day of.

What is your best advice during the planning process?

This answer comes in two parts – one for the engagement and planning period, and one for the marriage.

First, enjoy this process!! Don’t become stressed by the details and the people involved. Focus on the WHY you are getting married. Remember each other and that getting married to one another is the best part of all this planning. This is a happy day. When it arrives, we want you to celebrate it. Big time!

Second, choose each other. It is easy on your wedding day to choose each other. You are in love and your marriage is just beginning. You are feeling all the feels. But continue to choose one another. Some days, this will be more conscious than others. But choose anyway. Choose to love. Every day. For the rest of your lives.
